National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo instructed field staff to swiftly adopt White House recommendations to boost union organizing, saying the agency must protect workers from “systemic abuses.”
In a three-page memo to field staff Thursday, Abruzzo said she would seek to coordinate with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other worker-protection agencies to carry out a White House task force’s recommendations.
