LabCorp Courier Loses Bid to Move Wage Class Suit to State Court

A LabCorp courier failed to get California wage and breaks class claims sent back to state court, after a federal judge in Los Angeles ruled the amount of money at stake justified retaining jurisdiction.

LabCorp sufficiently proved the case is worth about $5.28 million using employee data and a reasonable 20% assumed-violation rate, Judge Dolly M. Gee of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California said.
