L3 to Pay 254-Member Class Settlement for Background Checks

L3 Technologies Inc. and subsidiary L3 Unidyne Inc. will pay $275,000 to settle claims it didn’t provide compliant disclosures to job applicants before it obtained background checks, following a judge’s final approval.

There are 254 former applicants set to receive payouts, Judge Marilyn L. Huff said in a Jan. 9 order.
