Kroll Fired Compliance Director Due to Disability, Suit Says

Kroll LLC allegedly fired the director of its financial services compliance regulation group because of his accommodation requests following an open-heart surgery and a stroke, according to a new lawsuit.

Dennis Dumas says the multinational financial consultancy firm pretextually fired him for performance issues despite successfully serving as a witness in a securities proceeding in the months before his termination.

He is seeking reinstatement, back and front pay, and damages, among other relief, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York Wednesday.
