Kroger, Ralphs Sued for Underpaying Workers for Missed Breaks

Kroger Co. and Ralphs Grocery Co. are facing accusations that they violated California law by shortchanging more than 10,000 grocery store and warehouse employees on meal and rest break premium wages, in a new federal lawsuit.

The proposed class action was brought by Eric Diaz, who worked at a Ralphs warehouse for 12-plus years, on behalf of similarly situated employees in California.
