Kozinski Faces Judicial Misconduct Inquiry on Alleged Harassment

The Judicial Council of the Ninth Circuit initiated an inquiry into allegations of sexual misconduct by Judge Alex Kozinski Dec. 14.

Also at least one current clerk of the Ninth Circuit judge has resigned, David J. Madden,
assistant circuit executive for the U.S. Courts for the Ninth Circuit confirmed to Bloomberg Law Dec. 14. There are reports this morning that three clerks have resigned.

Madden said Dec. 14 he was unable to comment further as he does “not know whether the separation(s) may involve a confidential personnel matter.”
