Kohl’s Worker Denied Use of Service Dog on Job Settles Bias Suit

Kohl’s Inc. and an Army veteran who claimed bias in its denial of his request to bring his service dog to work as an accommodation for his service-related PTSD and other medical issues have agreed to settle his bias lawsuit, federal court records show.

David Griego filed a notice of settlement with the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado Tuesday. It said he and Kohl’s “reached a tentative settlement in this matter” and will file a stipulation of dismissal upon the completion of the required settlement documents and compliance with the terms of their agreement.
