Kohler Strike Ends as Tentative Contract Reached

The United Auto Workers called off a month-old strike at Kohler Co. manufacturing facilities in and around Sheboygan, Wis., late Dec. 15 as it reached a tentative four-year collective bargaining agreement with the company, the parties announced.

The union represents some 2,200 workers at Kohler, which makes kitchen and bathroom fixtures and engines and generators. Workers began a strike in November after rejecting a final contract offer from the company220 DLR A-8, 11/16/15, 29 LRW 2358, 11/18/15, 20 COBB 170, 11/19/15.
