Kleinfeld’s Bridal Says ‘Yes’ to Overtime Settlement Proposal

The bridal storefront immortalized on TLC’s hit show “Say Yes To The Dress” has agreed to settle claims that it doesn’t properly pay its seamstresses for their overtime work.

Oksana Korolyshyn wanted to represent a group of fellow Kleinfeld Bridal alterations department employees who worked more than 40 hours per week.

The parties eventually agreed that the store’s use of a semi-monthly pay period created variation in Korolyshyn’s paystubs that created the mistaken impression the store was violating the Fair Labor Standards Act’s overtime requirements, the parties told the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York July ...
