Former US District Judge Lee Yeakel has joined King & Spalding as senior counsel in the trials and global disputes practice group in Austin, the firm said Monday.
He will focus on the dispute process, from counseling clients on dispute avoidance to representing them in court, King & Spalding said.
Yeakel, who announced his retirement from the bench in March, previously served as chief justice and justice of the Texas Third Court of Appeals, according to King & Spalding.
