Kentucky Fried Chicken Corp. agreed to pay $200,000 to resolve a sexual harassment and retaliation charge brought by the EEOC on behalf of two employees at an Orlando restaurant, the federal agency said today.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said it found reasonable cause that KFC violated federal law by subjecting an employee to a sexually hostile work environment and then firing her in retaliation for objecting to that harassment. The investigation also identified a second affected employee.
