Kelly Services Can Require Black Managers to Arbitrate Bias Suit

Two former managers can’t pursue in court claims that Kelly Services Inc. singled them out based on race by firing them for disclosing private employee information to a state agency, a Detroit federal judge ruled.

One man signed an agreement to arbitrate employment disputes when Kelly hired him in 2023, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan said. The other completed a training module on arbitration, acknowledged a related arbitration agreement, and continued working for the staffing company.
