Kaiser Unit Beats Worker’s Covid-19 Vaccine Religious Bias Case

The Permanente Medical Group Inc. notched an early win ending claims that it discriminated against a religious worker by firing her for noncompliance with its Covid-19 vaccination policy.

The worker didn’t show that she adequately informed TPMG, which is under the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan umbrella, of how its employee vaccination requirement conflicted with her religious beliefs, dooming her failure-to-accommodate claims, the US District Court for the Northern District of California said.
