Juul, Female Former Executive End Gender Bias, Harassment Suit

Juul Labs Inc. and a former director of compliance settled the harassment suit she brought against the company.

Elizabeth Jay Johannessen and Juul filed a stipulation of dismissal Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, saying that they resolved the dispute. She alleged her job duties were changed, she was excluded from certain meetings, and provided with an inadequate lactation room after she returned from maternity leave, in violation of federal anti-discrimination laws.
