Justices Skip Latest Worker Challenge in Maine Vaccine Law Saga

Former health-care workers contesting Maine’s decision to impose a Covid-19 vaccination mandate, and then revoke it once the case headed to discovery, failed to convince the US Supreme Court to take a look at their dispute Monday.

The workers, who lost their jobs after unsuccessful bids to skip the vaccines for religious reasons, argued their challenge to a Maine law prohibiting any religious exemptions to mandatory vaccination should move forward even after the state dropped its Covid shot requirement.
