The US Supreme Court rejected another batch of petitions seeking to extend its landmark decision limiting public-sector union fees to other aspects of labor-management relations.
The justices on Monday turned aside two requests to consider whether their 2018 decision in Janus v. AFSCME prohibits public-sector unions from restricting when members can resign or withdraw authorization to have dues deducted from their paychecks, or if the ruling requires such unions to get a special waiver to collect dues.
