Judge Won’t Immediately Block DOGE Access to Labor Records

A federal judge in Washington denied a request to immediately block members of Elon Musk’s government efficiency program from accessing records at the US Department of Labor, even as he said he “harbors concerns” about what Musk’s team is doing.

In an order Friday night, US District Judge John Bates concluded that the federal worker unions that brought the case had failed to show that they had legal standing to press the claims in the first place, so they couldn’t be entitled to swift judicial intervention.
