Judge Rejects United Air Workers’ Bid to Block Vaccine Rule

A federal judge in Texas rejected a bid by some United Airline Holdings Inc. workers to prevent the carrier from placing them on indefinite unpaid leave for refusing Covid-19 vaccinations.

  • U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman, a Trump appointee in Fort Worth, said in a ruling Monday that the workers confused the airline’s legal obligation to accommodate their religious or medical requests with suffering the consequences of making the personal choice to refuse shots
