Judge Blocks DHS Termination of Yemeni Immigrant Protections

A federal judge in New York blocked the Trump administration from stripping temporary deportation protections for more than 2,800 immigrants from Yemen.

Plaintiffs are likely to succeed with claims that the Department of Homeland Security’s termination of Temporary Protected Status for the country violated the Administrative Procedure Act, Judge Dale E. Ho of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York found Friday.
