Jerome Bettis’ Company Must Arbitrate Bias Claim Against EQT

NFL Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis’ trucking company is required to arbitrate its race discrimination claim against EQT Corp. relating to the cancellation of its contract with the natural gas producer, the Western District of Pennsylvania ruled.

Bettis’ Integrserv LLC, a Black-owned firm that hauls water and drilling mud, sued Aug. 18, also accusing EQT of breaching their contract. The dispute stems from the discovery of a handgun in an Integrserv truck following an August 2019 accident , the court said.
