The EEOC filed suit against Memphis-based International Paper Co. for allegedly discriminating against an applicant based on his disability, the agency said in a press statement on Monday.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says the company rescinded the applicant’s conditional job offer and failed or refused to provide a reasonable accommodation as part of the hiring process, which violates the Americans with Disabilities Act.
