Intel Trims Claims in Suit Alleging Age, National Origin Bias

Intel Corp. convinced a federal judge in Oregon to throw out some claims in a lawsuit brought by a former employee who said the technology giant discriminated and retaliated against him because of his age and his Israeli origin.

Ron Tsur, who immigrated to the U.S. from Israel in 1981, and began working for Intel in 1984, sued the company after he was terminated, purportedly based on his performance reviews, along with more than 1,000 other workers.
