A former Evolution Healthcare executive is accusing the benefits consultant of hiding prescription drug rebates from its employer clients, which a new lawsuit alleges the CEO said made the company “rich as hell.”
Alan Wiederhold said Evolution Healthcare and parent company AssuredPartners, Inc. fired him after he began sharing drug rebate information from pharmacy benefit managers with its employer clients, according to his complaint. The case was moved to the US District Court for the District of Maryland Wednesday following Wiederhold’s original February complaint in Maryland state court.
