Legislation (S. 2569) that would give companies a tax incentive to relocate jobs to the U.S.—and a penalty for moving them elsewhere—stumbled on a procedural vote in the Senate.
The Bring Jobs Home Act, sponsored by Sen. John Walsh (D-Mont.), failed July 30 to gain the 60 votes needed to end debate and move to a vote, failing on a 54-42 vote.
