Infosys, Executives Must Face Former VP’s Age, Sex Bias Suit

A former Infosys Ltd. recruiting vice president who was fired after allegedly refusing to follow executives’ illegal hiring criteria can proceed with her discrimination and retaliation claims, a Manhattan federal court said.

Jill Prejean sufficiently alleged unequal treatment based on her age and gender by Infosys, former senior vice president for consulting Mark Livingston, and former partners Dan Albright and Jerry Kurtz, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled Sept. 30.

Infosys hired Prejean as vice president of talent acquisition in October 2018, according to the opinion. She was 59 years old at the time. ...
