US Citizenship and Immigration Services’ abrupt changes this week to forms for employment-based green cards and other benefits unlawfully denied any grace period to thousands who had already filed applications, a national immigration group alleged Friday.
In some cases, the only change to forms for a slate of benefits was the elimination of any gender marker besides male or female sex classifications, it said.
