Immigration Agency Sued Over Big Game Hunter’s Visa Denial

US Citizenship and Immigration Services failed to properly consider evidence when it denied an immigrant visa petition needed for a big game hunter to secure an employment-based green card, a Texas contracting company alleged in a new lawsuit.

Andre Martin Nel was previously approved for an O-1 “extraordinary ability” temporary work visa to serve as a hunting guide on properties leased in Texas by Summit Construction Group. However, USCIS in June denied an I-140 immigration visa petition necessary to qualify for the analogous green card category.
