The Biden administration released a filing guide Friday for immigrant family members of US citizens to stay in the country while seeking permanent status through an ambitious new parole plan that will also make them eligible for work permits.
The “parole in place” plan is slated to begin accepting applications Aug. 19, although regulations codifying the program had yet to clear review by the White House’s Office of Management and Budget on Friday.
