Hyatt Settles NLRB Complaint Of Alleged Unfair Labor Practices

The Hyatt Regency Baltimore Jan. 23 settled an unfair labor practice complaint filed by a UNITE HERE local alleging numerous unfair labor practices during a union organizing campaign, the agency told BNA Jan. 25 (Hyatt Hotels Corp. v. UNITE HERE Local 7).

Under the settlement with National Labor Relations Board Region 5, to resolve numerous alleged violations of Sections 8(a)(1) and 8(a)(3) of the National Labor Relations Act, Hyatt agreed to reinstate two fired employees with back pay, provide back pay to one fired employee who waived a reinstatement offer, and remove disciplinary records of employees ...
