HSBC Settles Lack of Overtime Wages, Meal Break Claims (Correct)

HSBC Bank USA NA will pay $25,000 to two employees to settle claims that it failed to provide proper meal breaks and prevented them from reporting overtime hours.

Each worker will receive $7,500 and another $10,000 will go to the collective’s attorneys ($8,511.67 in attorneys’ fees and $1,488.33 for expenses), an order filed May 23 in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
