Employers Sprucing Up Incentives

Pay-for-performance may be a basic premise of the modern work world, but the question remains about how, exactly, to implement it so that talented employees will stay on during a time of record-low unemployment.

Almost half of employers (45 percent) are rejiggering their annual incentive plans, or at least considering doing so, according to an international survey of 1,949 employers, including 374 in the U.S., conducted in April by the consultancy Willis Towers Watson.
