Key House Democrats Friday raised concerns about the growing backlog of cases awaiting review from the independent agency that hears appeals on OSHA citations.
In the letter obtained by Bloomberg Law, Rep. Bobby Scott (D-Va.), ranking member of the Education and the Workforce Committee, along with Rep. Alma Adams (D-N.C.), requested the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission’s sole confirmed member Cynthia L. Attwood no longer designate any cases for review until the board is once full again.
