House Democratic leadership Sept. 13 tapped members of the Education and the Workforce Committee to serve on newly formed task forces aimed at helping the party sculpt a legislative agenda for growing jobs.
The Jobs for America Task Forces are five groups aimed at “identifying opportunities and solutions for American workers,” House Democrats said in a statement. The task forces are labeled Rebuilding America, Jobs With Dignity, Access to Jobs, New Economy, and Reinvesting in Our Returning Heroes.
