The House Democratic Women’s Caucus in a new letter to the EEOC’s chair called the agency’s lawsuit alleging a Coca-Cola distributor discriminated against men through a women’s networking event a “political stunt” and urged the commission to abandon the litigation.
The caucus asked the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Republican Chair Andrea Lucas to cease action on the lawsuit and redirect its resources toward addressing disparities women face in the workforce, according to a copy of a letter sent to the commission Monday.
