A wage and hour lawsuit filed by 16 Indianapolis hotel workers alleging that the subcontractor Hospitality Staffing Solutions failed to pay them for all the hours they worked at nine area hotels has been settled, UNITE HERE announced Dec. 12, the same day the settlement gained court approval (Sanchez v. Hospitality Staffing Solutions).
The union, which has been trying to organize hotel workers in Indianapolis and backed the case, said the “landmark lawsuit was the broadest wage and hour case in the history of the Indianapolis hospitality industry.”
