The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is limited in what it can ask one of its expert witnesses in an upcoming disability discrimination trial against a Mississippi hospital operated by Wesley Health System LLC.
The Dec. 12 ruling, which limits the agency’s questioning of the vocational expert to his previously disclosed testimony, comes on the eve of trial and a month after Judge Keith Starrett with the Southern District of Mississippi rejected the Hattiesburg-based hospital’s bid to end the case.
