Honda Worker Advances Some Wage Claims in Kronos Outage Case

The first worker to sue a Honda Motor Co. subsidiary for wage woes stemming from a cyberattack on its third-party timekeeping system mostly defeated the company’s bid for an early end to his case.

It’s too soon to tell, however, if the Honda Development & Manufacturing of America LLC worker could receive liquidated damages under federal wage law after the company made delayed reconciliation payments to employees the Kronos outage affected, the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio said.
