Home Depot Managers Not Added to Workers’ English-Only Bias Suit

Six Hispanic workers accusing Home Depot of not allowing them and others to speak Spanish in the workplace can’t add two managers allegedly involved in the race and ancestry bias as defendants in their proposed class action, a federal court in New Jersey ruled.

Luis Albino and the five other lead plaintiffs knew about assistant store manager Marlena Kramer and district manager Corey Lilliston at the time they filed their original complaint in February, and in fact mentioned them both in that initial pleading, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey said.
