Hilton Workers Get More Parental Leave Under New Policy

Full-time employees at hotel chain Hilton are getting two more weeks of parental leave under a new policy announced Sept. 16.

The company will provide birth mothers with 12 weeks of paid time off and offer four weeks of leave to non-birthing parents, starting Jan. 1, 2020. Employees at both the hotels and at Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. corporate currently receive 10 weeks for birth mothers and two weeks for fathers, adoptive parents, and same-sex parents.
