Workers at two health plan benefits administrators asked a federal judge to sign off on a $38.7 million deal to resolve a lawsuit alleging the companies stiffed people on overtime pay.
The settlement “provides full recovery of unpaid overtime wages” for almost 900 people who worked for Presbyterian Health Plan Inc. and Fluent Health Inc. as far back as 2013, “based on conservative assumptions” about what they’re owed, according to documents the workers filed in the US District Court for the District of New Mexico.
