Health-Care Company IQVIA to Pay $550,000 to Settle Bias Suit

IQVIA Inc. will pay $550,000 in back wages and interest to 984 female and Black applicants to resolve alleged hiring discrimination at its Parsippany, N.J., facility, according to the U.S. Department of Labor Monday.

An Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs compliance review found evidence that IQVIA, a multinational health-care services company, discriminated against female and Black applicants who applied to work as associate sales consultants from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, according to the department.
