US Citizenship and Immigration Services has notified winners of the annual H-1B lottery that they can move forward with petitions for the specialty occupation visas.
The agency said Monday that it received enough electronic registrations from employers by a March 24 deadline to meet the fiscal year 2026 cap of 85,000 visas.
This year’s registration period was the first since USCIS imposed new registration fees of $215. The agency has not released the total number of H-1B lottery entries submitted this year.
