The United Food and Commercial Workers announced a new national campaign targeting companies using surveillance technologies to set grocery prices.
The union said Thursday the effort is aimed at passing legislation that would ban companies from using artificial intelligence to survey customers and set prices, while also protecting members’ jobs.
