An appeals court panel Wednesday appeared dubious about a challenge from a group of Indian immigrants to US visa policies that have added years to the wait time for a green card after they were initially eligible for permanent residency.
The plaintiffs sued when visa eligibility shifted based on an applicant’s original filing date for a green card, adding several years to their place in the wait time.
