Greater Worker Email Access Needed Post-Covid, NLRB Lawyer Says

Workers must be able to communicate digitally in the modern workplace that evolved during the pandemic, the National Labor Relations Board’s legal arm said, arguing in favor of overturning a Trump-era restriction on employee email use.

In an advice division memo made public Wednesday, the NLRB general counsel’s office urged a regional office to file an unfair labor practice complaint against a Missouri insurance company and argue for expanding worker access to company email and other information technology.
