The National Labor Relations Board ordered managers at a union-busting grain company in Nebraska to read aloud a remedial notice to workers about their rights.
The notice-reading remedy is important in light of Gavilon Grain’s fast response to a union’s request for recognition, the scope of the company’s unfair labor practices, the small size of the proposed bargaining unit, and the participation of high-ranking company officials, the NLRB said in its Tuesday decision.
