Loyal Source Government Services LLC agreed to pay $2.75 million to end a class action involving nearly 8,000 workers who sued over violations of California labor law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, according to a motion for settlement approval filed in a federal court in San Diego.
The proposed deal allocates 59% of the net amount, about $1.69 million, to the 772 members of the California class, who will receive individual payments based on how many weeks they worked during the relevant period. The remaining 41% will be divided equally among the 7,205 members of the FCRA class.
