GM, Stellantis Hit With UAW Labor Charges Over Bargaining (2)

The United Auto Workers filed a federal labor complaint against General Motors Co. and Stellantis NV Thursday, alleging two of the three big US automakers were refusing to bargain two weeks before their labor agreement is set to expire.

UAW President Shawn Fain told members in a virtual town hall that GM and Stellantis hadn’t yet given counter offers to the union’s initial proposals on wages and benefits. Ford had come back with a set of offers that were far short of what the union would accept, he said.
