National Labor Relations Board Administrative Law Judge Renee McKinney said in a decision Wednesday that the auto manufacturer has maintained illegally broad provisions in a collective bargaining agreement with the United Auto Workers union.
One such rule prohibits workers from misusing or removing records of employees, company records, or confidential information “of any nature.” The overly broad policy could prevent employees from having information that would allow them to organize, McKinney found.
