Gay Atheist JetBlue Pilot Mostly Advances Bias, Harassment Suit

JetBlue Airways Corp. must face a former pilot’s claims that he was subjected to sexual orientation and religious discrimination after gay pornography and research about the half-life of illicit drugs were found on a computer tablet he may have used, a federal judge ruled.

The alleged job bias and harassment included being sent for addiction treatment from a religious organization opposed to homosexuality, where the pilot was required to participate in an Alcoholics Anonymous program that included mimicking Christian beliefs, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
